Rule Name: Web Analytics: Verify that the Site Inventory Usage Collection timer job is enabled for all the Web applications serviced by the Web Analytics service application.
Summary: If the Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Site Inventory Usage Collection timer job is disabled for a Web application, the Web Analytics reports will not have data for that Web application.
Cause: The Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Site Inventory Usage Collection timer job is disabled.
Resolution: Change the settings of the Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Site Inventory Usage Collection timer job.

Verify that the user account that is performing this procedure is a member of the Farm Administrators group.

On the Central Administration Web site, click Monitoring.

On the Monitoring page, in the Timer Jobs section, click Review job definitions.

On the Job Definitions page, click Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Site Inventory Usage Collection.

On the Edit Timer Job page, in the Recurring Schedule section, specify a schedule for the timer job, and then click Enable. By default, this timer job is scheduled to run daily.
