Office 365 Hybrid Deployments with Exchange 2010 SP1
Topic Last Modified: 2012-09-05
The Exchange Server Deployment Assistant currently provides hybrid deployment guidance based on Service Pack 2 (SP2) of Exchange Server 2010. We recommend that you use Exchange 2010 SP2. However, you can obtain deployment instructions related to creating a hybrid deployment based on Exchange 2010 SP1. For example, you may need to refer to SP1-based instructions if you have partially completed an Exchange 2010 SP1-based deployment.
For more information about Exchange 2010 SP2, see What's New in Exchange 2010 SP2. For more information about hybrid deployments using functionality new to Exchange 2010 SP2, see Hybrid Deployments with the Hybrid Configuration Wizard.
This topic contains information for the following scenarios of hybrid deployment:
- Exchange 2003 and Office 365 hybrid deployments with Exchange 2010 SP1
- Exchange 2007 and Office 365 hybrid deployments with Exchange 2010 SP1
