The Site Migration Wizard automates the migration of Commerce Server 2009 Web site configuration files to enable operation with Commerce Server 2009 R2.

The Site Migration Wizard can only migrate sites based on Commerce Server 2009 that use the channelConfiguration and metaDataDefinitions configuration files. Sites based on earlier versions of Commerce Server (i.e., Commerce Server 2002 or Commerce Server 2007) must be migrated manually. See Migration and Upgrade for more information.
