Compensation grids (form)

Click Human resources > Setup > Compensation > Compensation grids.
Use this form to set up compensation grids. Companies that use external compensation systems can use grids to generate basic compensation plans and set up pay range guidelines for the plans.

The name of the compensation grid. |

The description of the compensation grid. |
Type |
Select a plan type for the compensation grid: Band – This plan type typically has broad ranges of pay rates. Therefore, it has fewer levels. Grade – This plan type is detailed and graduated, and often contains a larger number of levels. Step – This plan type has discrete progressions of pay for each level and it is the most graduated plan type. |
Reference setup |
Select a reference point setup. The reference points included in the reference point setup determine the ranges that you can use to set up wage range guidelines for each level in the plan. |
Currency |
Select a currency code. |
Effective date |
Enter the date and time when the compensation grid is active. |
Expiration date |
Enter the date and time when the compensation grid is inactive. |
