External pay groups (form)

Click Human resources > Setup > Compensation > External pay groups.
Use this form to create various pay groups, sometimes referred to as pay companies, which are used to send compensation data to payroll.

Pay group |
Enter a name for the external pay group. |

Enter a description for the external pay group. |
Pay frequency |
Select a pay frequency for the selected pay group. Note This is the frequency that payroll runs for the pay group. It should not be confused with the pay frequency that is associated with an employee’s fixed pay rate. |
Currency |
Select the currency code that is used as the standard currency in the external pay system. |
