Log Files in System Center 2012 - Unified Installer

Updated: April 1, 2012

Applies To: System Center 2012 - Unified Installer

It is possible in some System Center 2012 – Unified Installer scenarios that the deployment status will show a summary failure event and possibly a cryptic exit code. In these situations, you might have to look at the local installation logs of the application to determine the cause of a failure because the silent install might not return any errors or might not include details of the errors.

The following table shows where log files are found.
