The following sections provide links to resources and reference material for the Application Compatibility Toolkit (ACT).

Microsoft SQL Server Express Edition. If you are not already running SQL Server, download a free version of SQL Server Express and its management tools.

Download the latest version of the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) to assist with image creation and automated installation, reduce deployment time, standardize desktop and server images, limit service disruptions, reduce post-deployment help desk costs, and improve security and ongoing configuration management.
