You can build a custom Windows PE solution by customizing a base Windows® Preinstallation Environment (Windows PE) image (winpe.wim) provided with the Windows® Assessment and Deployment Kit (Windows ADK). You can to add optional components, language packs, boot-critical or other drivers, and your own applications. You can then optimize the image by using profiling, create bootable Windows PE media, and boot into memory to perform additional customizations.
