Updated: February 1, 2012
Use the following best practices to help you convert Configuration Manager 2007 packages to System Center 2012 Configuration Manager applications by using Package Conversion Manager.
Use the information displayed in the Package Conversion Dashboard to help you analyze and convert packages.
Investigate the programs in your packages (known as wrappers). Use the Package Conversion Manager plug-in to convert the functions they contain into the equivalent System Center 2012 Configuration Manager functionality.
