Start-WebCommitDelay

Instructs the IIS configuration system to delay the commitment of changes.

Start-WebCommitDelay [ <CommonParameters>]




Detailed Description

Instructs the IIS configuration system to delay the commitment of changes. The commitment of changes is delayed until the Stop-WebCommitDelay cmdlet is executed.

Parameters

<CommonParameters>

This cmdlet supports the common parameters: -Verbose, -Debug, -ErrorAction, -ErrorVariable, -OutBuffer, and -OutVariable. For more information, see    about_CommonParameters.

Inputs

The input type is the type of the objects that you can pipe to the cmdlet.

Outputs

The output type is the type of the objects that the cmdlet emits.

Examples

Example 1: Delay the commit of changes

Delays the modification of IIS configuration settings until the Stop-WebCommitDelay cmdlet is executed.
