Esentutl /copy file

Copies a database or log file

Esentutl /y <source file> [options]

 

Parameter Description

<source file>

Name of the file to copy.

<options>

You can specify zero or more of the options that are listed in the following table. Separate each option with a space.

 

Option Description

/d<file>

Destination file (default: copy source file to current directory)

/i

Ignore I/O read errors

/o

Suppresses the logo.

The following example copies the Active Directory database in the default location:

Esentutl /y c:\windows\ntds\ntds.dit
