Welcome to the Windows Azure Active Directory Library for IT Professionals, Partners and Users. The topics in this TechNet library are organized by the following three customer segments in order to provide an improved content browsing experience for customers who need to integrate or interact with the various components of the Windows Azure Active Directory (Windows Azure AD) service:
Tenant Administrators - Tenant admins can find the online help content that is applicable to the portals used by Windows Intune, Office 365, and Windows Azure to manage identity and organization-specific information in your cloud tenant. For more information about how portals work with Windows Azure AD, see Administering your Windows Azure AD tenant.
Microsoft Partners – Partners can get guidance about ways to interact with their customers by leveraging the identity management platform provided with Windows Azure AD. For more information, see Help for partners.
Users – Users can find help for how to sign in, manage their profile, change their password or update other organizational account-related information. For more information, see Help for users.

About identity management in the cloud
Microsoft cloud services today, such as Windows Intune and Office 365, rely on the identity management capabilities provided by Windows Azure AD. These capabilities include a cloud based store for directory data and a core set of identity services including user logon processes, authentication and federation services. In addition, organizations that subscribe to these cloud services can use Windows Azure AD to configure single sign-on to allow interoperability with their existing on-premises Active Directory environment.
