Add Office 365 Online Services

A benefit of having an online service subscription through Microsoft online services is that adding services is easy. After you have registered your users in the Microsoft online services portal for one service, those users are eligible for subscriptions to any available online service, for example, Microsoft Exchange Online or Microsoft SharePoint Online. All you need to do is buy the subscription to the new service by completing the purchasing wizard, and then assign a license for the new service to each user that you want to have the service. For more information about buying subscriptions, see Buy subscriptions for your company.

Single sign-on is supported in subscriptions to Microsoft online services. This feature provides authentication by mapping the user’s corporate credentials to the user’s online service credentials. This streamlines the sign-in process so that the user does not have to manage multiple sets of credentials.

If your organization has already set up single sign-on for the Microsoft online services environment, any new Microsoft online services product that you add accepts single sign-on. There is no additional work to implement single sign-on for a new subscription that you purchase.

For more information about implementing single sign-on, see Prepare for single sign-on.

For step-by-step instructions for buying subscriptions for additional online services, see Buy additional subscriptions.
