IP Address Management (IPAM) is an entirely new feature in Windows Server® 2012 that provides highly customizable administrative and monitoring capabilities for the IP address infrastructure on a corporate network.
IPAM in Windows Server 2012 is a new built-in framework for discovering, monitoring, auditing, and managing the IP address space used on a corporate network. IPAM provides for administration and monitoring of servers running Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and Domain Name System (DNS).

The IPAM/DHCP Integration Module is now available on the Microsoft Script Center. This Windows PowerShell script imports DHCP leases and reservations into the IPAM database.
