IP Address Management (IPAM) is an entirely new feature in Windows Server® 2012 that provides highly customizable administrative and monitoring capabilities for the IP address infrastructure on a corporate network.
IPAM in Windows Server 2012 is a new built-in framework for discovering, monitoring, auditing, and managing the IP address space used on a corporate network. IPAM provides for administration and monitoring of servers running Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and Domain Name System (DNS). For more information, see IP Address Management (IPAM) Overview
The IPAM/DHCP Integration Module is now available on the Microsoft Script Center. This Windows PowerShell script imports DHCP leases and reservations into the IPAM database.
