This cmdlet is available only in the cloud-based service.

Use the Get-MailboxActivityReport cmdlet to view the number of mailboxes created and deleted in your cloud-based organization.

Get-MailboxActivityReport [-EndDate <DateTime>] [-Expression <Expression>] [-Organization <OrganizationIdParameter>] [-ReportType <Daily | Weekly | Monthly | Yearly>] [-ResultSize <Unlimited>] [-StartDate <DateTime>]

This example shows the number of mailboxes created and deleted for the month of May, 2012

Get-MailboxActivityReport -ReportType Monthly -StartDate 05/01/2012 -EndDate 05/31/2012

You need to be assigned permissions before you can run this cmdlet. Although all parameters for this cmdlet are listed in this topic, you may not have access to some parameters if they're not included in the permissions assigned to you. To see what permissions you need, see the "View reports" entry in the Feature permissions in Exchange Online topic.

EndDate

The EndDate parameter specifies the end date of the date range.

Use the short date format defined in the Regional Options settings for the computer on which the command is run. For example, if the computer is configured to use the short date format mm/dd/yyyy, enter 03/01/2010 to specify March 1, 2010. You can enter the date only, or you can enter the date and time of day. If you enter the date and time of day, you must enclose the argument in quotation marks ("), for example, "10/05/2010 5:00 PM".

This parameter is reserved for internal Microsoft use.

Organization

Microsoft.Exchange.Configuration.Tasks.OrganizationIdParameter

The Organization parameter is reserved for internal Microsoft use.

ReportType

Optional

Microsoft.Exchange.Management.ReportingTask.Common.ReportType

The ReportType parameter aggregates the data in the report by the value you specify. Valid values for this parameter are Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly. Use the value of ReportType with appropriate values for the StartDate and EndDate parameters to review the data from a specific time period.

ResultSize

Optional

Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Unlimited

The ResultSize parameter specifies the maximum number of results to return. If you want to return all requests that match the query, use unlimited for the value of this parameter. The default value is 1000.

StartDate

The StartDate parameter specifies the start date of the date range.
