FIM 2010 R2: Autostats equals ON

Issue

FIMSyncServiceDB - Automatic statistics update is not enabled for the FIM Synchronization server database.

Impact

FIMSyncServiceDB - FIM Synchronization service performance may be affected.

Resolution

FIMSyncServiceDB - Please enable Automatic statistics update for the FIM Synchronization server database.

To enable Auto Update Statistics use the following procedure

To enable Auto Update Statistics

1. Open the Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.

2. In the Object Explorer, expand and right-click the FIMSynchronizationService database, and then click Properties in the context menu. This will open the Database Properties dialog.

3. In the Select a page pane, click Options.

4. In the main pane, double-click Auto Update Statistics.

5. Close the Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
