Network Switch Team Cmdlets in Windows PowerShell

Windows PowerShell® is a task-based command-line shell and scripting language designed especially for system administration. This reference topic for the information technology (IT) professional provides assistance in utilizing the Windows PowerShell cmdlets to script and automate tasks.

Network Switch Team

This reference provides cmdlet descriptions and syntax for all Network Switch Team-specific cmdlets. It lists the cmdlets in alphabetical order based on the verb at the beginning of the cmdlet.

These Network Switch Team cmdlets should only be used with NIC switch teams that are manipulated by a forwarding extension in the Hyper-V Extensible Switch.

 

cmdlet Description

Add-NetSwitchTeamMember

Adds a network adapter member to an existing switch team.

Get-NetSwitchTeam

Gets the extensible switch team.

Get-NetSwitchTeamMember

Gets the current network adapter members of a switch team.

New-NetSwitchTeam

Creates a new switch team.

Remove-NetSwitchTeam

Deletes a switch team.

Remove-NetSwitchTeamMember

Removes a network adapter member from a switch team.

Rename-NetSwitchTeam

Changes the name of a switch team.
