Applies To: Office 365
At the content publisher (sender's) desktop, ensure you have configured Outlook to work with Microsoft Exchange Online. For more information, see Set up E-mail in Outlook.
Within Outlook, create a new mail message addressed to a recipient within your organization.
From the File menu, click Set Permissions, and then select one of the following templates:
Do Not Forward, Company Confidential or Company Confidential Read Only.
Note The first time you use IRM functionality you will contact the Windows Azure AD Rights Management service to get configured. When you do, you will be prompted for credentials. In addition, for Office 2010 users, the Company Confidential templates will not be available until the initial Office IRM client configuration has been completed and the task scheduler job has run to retrieve the templates from the Rights Management service.
Enter your Office 365 credentials to complete the configuration of the Office IRM client.
Send the message.
