Prepare for Rights Management

Once you have signed up for and established your organization with an account in Microsoft Office 365, enabling Windows Azure AD Rights Management requires only a few additional configuration steps to enable it for use.
|Before trying Rights Management functionality, configure user accounts using either the Microsoft Online Administration Console or the Exchange Online Control Panel. Also, it's a good idea to create mail-enabled security groups in Exchange Online ahead of time. By default, Rights Management is disabled when you sign up for your Office 365 account in Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise E3. To enable Rights Management for use your Office 365 administrator needs to activate it for use by using the Rights Management settings within the Office 365 administrative portal.
