Processing folder

The processing folder is used by the file processors during the analysis of the monitored files. All application processing takes place in the Processing folder. The Processing folder is accessed by the ACM Application Server, but can be located on any file server as long as it can be accessed by the ACM system.

To add a processing folder

  1. Create a folder called Processing.

  2. Right-click on the Processing folder and point to Share with and then click Specific people. Add the Application Service account and give it Full Control permissions to the folder. Make a note of the UNC path of the Processing folder as you will need it later.

  3. Open the ACM web site. Click Site Actions and then click Site Settings.

  4. Under Site Administration, click Processing folder.

  5. Enter the UNC path of the folder to be used as a processing folder.

  6. Click Ok.

Note

The processing folder UNC path can only be used by one site. If you want to created additional sites in the ACM application, additional processing folders must be created.
