Windows Intune Report Reference

Windows Intune reports provide information about the software, hardware and software licenses in your organization and can help you confirm current needs and forecast future spending.

  • Windows Intune Update Reports

    An update report displays the software updates that succeeded on computers in your organization, in addition to the updates that failed, are pending, or are needed. Filter updates based on criteria such as update classifications.

  • Windows Intune Detected Software Reports

    A detected software report displays software installed on computers in your organization and includes the software versions. Use this report to plan software purchases and to understand the software needs of uses in your organization.

  • Computer Inventory Reports in Windows Intune

    A computer inventory report displays information about computers in your organization. Use this report to plan hardware purchases and to understand more about the hardware needs of users in your organization.

  • Windows Intune License Reports

    There are two types of License reports:

    • License Purchase Reports display the software titles for all licensed software in selected license groups, based on their licensing agreements. You can use this report to find gaps in coverage for the license agreements in your organization.

    • License Installation Reports compare installed software on computers in your organization with your current license agreement coverage. Use this report to determine whether your organization has sufficient license agreement coverage.

  • Windows Intune Mobile Device Reports

    A mobile device report displays information about mobile devices in your organization.
