Editing Software Packages

Updated: December 17, 2012

Applies To: Windows Intune December 2012 Release

When you upload software to Windows Intune, you provide a set of parameters for that software. You can edit these parameters at any time after the software is uploaded.

To edit a software deployment package

  1. Open the Windows Intune administrator console.

  2. Open the Software workspace.

  3. In the Software navigation pane, click Managed Software .

  4. Select the title of the software that you want to edit, and then click Edit .

  5. The Windows Intune Software Publisher wizard starts. In this wizard, you can change any of the settings that were defined when the software was uploaded to Windows Intune. For a full description of these settings, see Adding Software Packages.

    WarningWarning
The process for editing a software package that was uploaded is identical to the process to add a software package, except that when you edit a software package in the Windows Intune Software Publisher, you cannot access the Software setup page or change the software package itself.

  6. After you have completed your edits, click Save . Windows Intune displays a message that the changes were successfully saved.
