Identifying Computers Not Running Any Endpoint Protection Software

Computers that are not protected should be investigated promptly. The Windows Intune administrator console lets you easily find computers that are not protected so that you can take appropriate action. Computers are classified as not protected when issues occur with the Windows Intune Endpoint Protection client software that is installed on managed computers. This state is indicated by a Critical icon in the console.
To identify computers that are not protected

Open the Windows Intune administrator console.

In the workspace shortcuts pane, click the Endpoint Protection icon.

In the navigation pane, click Overview , if it is not already selected.

The Endpoint Protection Overview page appears and displays issues sorted by severity, starting with Critical issues. The issues are displayed as links.

Under Computer Status , click Devices that are not protected . A list of relevant computers appears. Details about the selected computer are shown in the preview pane.

In the preview pane, under Endpoint Protection Status , review the errors to determine why the computer is not protected.
