Windows Intune Agent Policy
Updated: December 17, 2012
Applies To: Windows Intune December 2012 Release
The Windows Intune Agent policy template in the Windows Intune administrator console lets you create policies that you can use to configure policy settings for Windows Intune Endpoint Protection, updates, user-device linking, and network bandwidth.
Windows Intune Agent policy
You can configure these settings in policies that you create and that are based on this template, and you can use policies to deploy these settings to device groups.
|If you delete a policy that configures Windows Intune Endpoint Protection settings and is deployed to devices, the values of those settings on the devices are reset to the default state for the Endpoint Protection Agent. Except for the Join Microsoft Active Protection Service setting, the default values are the same as the recommended values for the policy settings. For Join Microsoft Active Protection Service, the default value is No. If you delete a policy that configures an Updates policy setting that is deployed to devices, the values of those Updates policy settings are reset to the default state for the operating system that is installed on the devices.|
For more information about the settings that are available in the Windows Intune Agent policy template, see Windows Intune Agent Policy Reference.
