Applies To: Windows Server 2012 Essentials, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials
This topic applies to a server running Windows Server 2012 Essentials or Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials, or to a server running Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard or Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter with the Windows Server Essentials Experience role installed.
When the server detects that a pre-defined server folders - Company, Users, Client Computer Backups, File History Backup, and Folder Redirection, is no longer shared (for some reason or another), an alert is be generated to guide the user to resolve this issue. It is recommended that you try and restore the folder from server backup. However, if the server has not been backed up, select the missing folder and click Recreate the missing folder to reconfigure the location of the server folder.
|Only pre-defined folders - Company, Users, Client Computer Backups, File History Backup, and Folder Redirection, can be re-created. User created server folders and media server folders cannot be re-created.|
Once you restore or recreate the missing folder, it should no longer be listed as Missing.
