(PM) Master plans (form)

Click Master planning > Setup > Plans > Master plans.

Use this form to create and maintain master plans. For each plan, you can set parameters that define how master scheduling is calculated for the plan.

You can work with several master plans to determine the consequences of various parameter setups. Set the default plan for master scheduling in the Master planning parameters form.

Sequencing

Set up sequencing parameters that are used after the master scheduling calculation.

Sequencing

Select this check box to set the sequencing time fence for the item during master scheduling. If you select this check box, enter the number of days that sequencing is performed.

Sequencing active

Select this check box to start the sequencing process when this master plan is used for regenerating replenishments.

Bucket type

Select one of the following options to indicate the sequencing campaign cycle:

  • Period ─ Specify the number of days for product sequences.

  • Calendar ─ Specify the number of calendar days, weeks, or months for product sequences.

Period type

If you select Calendar in the Bucket type field, then select Day, Week, Month, or Quarter. If you select Period in the Bucket type field, the Day option is displayed by default.

Sequencing bucket

Enter the length of time specified in the Period type field. If the Day option is displayed in the Period type field, the number you enter in the Sequencing bucket field specifies the number of days in the sequencing campaign cycle.
