Step 4: Install BHOLD Core

The BHOLD Core Setup Wizard installs the BHOLD Core module on and creates the BHOLD portal website on FIM1, and it creates the BHOLD Core database in SQL Server running on App1.

To run the BHOLD Core Setup Wizard

  1. Log on to FIM1 as CORP\Administrator.

  2. Navigate to the folder that contains the binaries for BHOLD Core and double-click BholdCore <Version>_Release.msi, where <Version> is the version number of the BHOLD Core release that you are installing.

  3. In the Microsoft BHOLD Suite – Core Setup wizard, on the Welcome page, click Next.

  4. On the End-User License Agreement page, read the license agreement, select I accept the terms in the License Agreement, and then click Next.

  5. On the Custom Setup page, click Next.

  6. On the Account settings page, perform the following steps, and then click Next:

    1. Ensure that Use Security Provider on Domain/Machine is selected.

    2. In Domain, type CORP.

    3. Ensure that Application group contains BholdApplicationGroup and that Service user contains b1user.

    4. In Password, type the password you specified for the b1user account that you created in Step 3: Perform BHOLD Core prerequisite tasks [paveover].

    5. Ensure that Website IP/Port contain an asterisk (*) and 5151.

  7. On the Database settings page, do the following, and then click Next:

    1. Ensure that Use integrated Security is selected.

    2. In Database Server, type App1.

    3. Ensure that Database Name contains B1.

    4. Ensure that Make restrictions for this database user is selected.

  8. On the Ready to install Microsoft BHOLD Suite – Core page, click Install.

    Important

    Depending on your system configuration, it might take several minutes for installation to complete. Do not close the Microsoft BHOLD Suite – Core Setup wizard until it indicates that installation is finished.
