| End-user quarantine management | By default, suspected spam messages flow to the user’s Junk Mail folder in Outlook. In previous versions of Exchange Online administrators could change this behavior and use the spam quarantine feature of Microsoft Forefront for Online Protection (FOPE) instead. In this release, the option of using end-user quarantine management is not available in Exchange Online. However, administrators can search for and view details about quarantined email messages in the Exchange admin center. After locating the message, you can release it to specific users and optionally report it as a false positive. For more information, see Quarantine. |

| Directory lookups using Automatic Speech Recognition | In previous versions of Exchange Online, Outlook Voice Access users and callers who dialed into UM auto attendants could use speech inputs using Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) to search for users listed in the directory. In Exchange Online, this feature is not supported. However, all other Outlook Voice Access and auto attendants can use speech inputs to navigate Outlook Voice Access and auto attendant menus. |

| Creating mailboxes | Mailboxes can’t be created using the Exchange admin center in Exchange Online. They can be created using the Microsoft Office 365 admin center or the Exchange Management Shell.
