Get-DfsnFolderTarget

Updated: December 14, 2012

Applies To: Windows Server 2012

Get-DfsnFolderTarget

Gets settings for targets of a DFS namespace folder.

Syntax

Parameter Set: GetNamespaceFolderTarget0
Get-DfsnFolderTarget [-Path] <String> [[-TargetPath] <String> ] [-AsJob] [-CimSession <CimSession[]> ] [-ThrottleLimit <Int32> ] [ <CommonParameters>]

Detailed Description

The Get-DfsnFolderTarget cmdlet gets settings for targets of a Distributed File System (DFS) namespace folder. You can specify a DFS namespace folder path to see all the targets for that path. You can specify a namespace path and a target path to see settings for a particular target.

For more information about DFS namespaces, see Overview of DFS Namespaces (http://technet.microsoft.com/library/cc730736) on TechNet.

Parameters

-AsJob

Runs the cmdlet as a background job. Use this parameter to run commands that take a long time to complete. The cmdlet immediately returns an object that represents the job and then displays the command prompt. You can continue to work in the session while the job completes. To manage the job, use the *-Job cmdlets. To get the job results, use the Receive-Job cmdlet. For more information about Windows PowerShell® background jobs, see about_Jobs.
