The Live Migration feature in Windows Server 2012 makes it possible for you to have highly available Hyper-V virtual machines, but the ability to easily migrate virtual machines might result in difficulties related to protecting the data on those virtual machines. However, you can use System Center 2012 Service Pack 1 (SP1) components to protect your data on virtual machines that have Live Migration enabled.
