DataFile.IsSparse Property

SQL Server 2012

Gets the Boolean value that specifies whether the file is a sparse file. Sparse files are used in database snapshots.

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
A Boolean value that specifies whether the data file is sparse.If True, the data file is sparse. Otherwise, False (default).
