ServiceStartMode Enumeration

The ServiceStartMode enumeration contains values that are used to specify the method used to start the SQL Server service.

Member nameDescription
AutoThe SQL Server service is started automatically.
BootThe SQL Server service is started when the system is started.
DisabledThe SQL Server service is disabled and cannot be started.
ManualThe SQL Server service is started manually.
SystemThe SQL Server service is started by the system.

The ServiceStartMode enumerated class is served by the ServiceStartMode property.

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework.
