Insert Method

This feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature.

The Insert method adds a string to a Names collection at the position indicated.

Syntax

object.Insert(NewItem, InsertBeforeItem)

Parts

  • object
    Expression that evaluates to an object in the Applies To list.

  • NewItem
    String that names the new item.

  • InsertBeforeItem
    String that names an existing item or a long that specifies an ordinal position.
