How to: Group Tasks and Containers in a Control Flow

This procedure describes how to group task and containers in a control flow. To group tasks and containers in a control flow, the package must contain more than one task or container. To group tasks and containers in a control flow

  1. In Business Intelligence Development Studio, open the Integration Services project that contains the package you want.

  2. In Solution Explorer, double-click the package to open it.

  3. Click the Control Flow tab.

  4. On the design surface of the Control Flow tab, select the tasks and containers you want to group, right-click a selected task or container, and then click Group.

  5. To save the updated package, click Save Selected Items on the File menu.
