DropLogins Property

This feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature.

The DropLogins property controls cascaded deletion of dependent linked server login records when a persisted OLE DB data source definition is deleted.

Remarks

If TRUE, login mappings defined for the linked server are deleted when the linked server record itself is deleted.

If FALSE, deleting the linked server does not affect login mappings for the server.
