Complete Event

This feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature.

The Complete event occurs when a backup or restore operation completes.

    Expression that evaluates to an object in the Applies To list.

  • Message
    String that contains descriptive message text.

Remarks

With SQL Distributed Management Objects (SQL-DMO), use the SQLBackup, SQLRestore, and SQLVerify methods to start a backup or restore operation.
