Data Sources and Connection Methods

You can use these methods to set and manage data source connections and credentials.

Method	Action
CreateDataSource	Creates a new data source in the report server database.
DisableDataSource	Disables a data source that is enabled.
EnableDataSource	Enables a data source that is disabled.
GetDataSourceContents	Returns the contents of a data source.
GetItemDataSourcePrompts	Returns the prompt strings for each data source that is associated with a report.
GetItemDataSources	Returns the values of properties that are associated with the data sources of a report.
ListDependentItems	Returns a list of items that are associated with a given item in the report server database.
SetDataSourceContents	Sets the contents of a data source.
SetItemDataSources	Sets the properties that are associated with the data sources of a report.
