In Object Explorer, you can right-click many of the database objects and choose delete on the shortcut menu. This warning message provides an opportunity to go ahead and delete the object or to cancel the operation and leave the object on the database.

You can click Yes to delete the selected object (this will permanently delete the object from the database), or click No to avoid deleting the database object.
