Maintenance Plan Wizard (Select Plan Properties Page)

Use the Select Plan Properties page to enter a name and description for the maintenance plan, and to select a schedule. You can define a single schedule for the entire maintenance plan or define individual schedules for each task.

Options

• Name
  Specify a name for this maintenance plan. The name is limited to 128 characters.

• Description
  Type a description of this maintenance plan for further reference. The description is limited to 512 characters.

• Separate schedules for each task
  Creates a separate schedule for each task added to the maintenance plan. If you choose this option, you can define a schedule on subsequent wizard pages where each task is configured.

• Single schedule for the entire plan or no schedule
  Creates one schedule that applies to all tasks added to the maintenance plan.

• Change
  Click to display the New Job Schedule dialog box where you can define a schedule for the maintenance plan. This button is disabled if you select Separate schedules for each task.
