Browser (Cube Designer) (SSAS)
Use the Browser tab in Cube Designer to browse data and metadata for a cube. If writeback is enabled for any of the measure groups in the cube, use this view to change cell data for the cube.
The Browser tab contains the following panes:
Panes
- Toolbar
Use the toolbar to perform common actions on the tab. For more information about this pane, see Toolbar (Browser Tab, Cube Designer) (SSAS).
- Report
Use the Report pane to view cell data from the cube, based on the items included from the Metadata pane and filtered by the criteria specified in the Filter pane. For more information about this pane, see Report (Browser Tab, Cube Designer) (SSAS).
- Metadata
Use the Metadata pane to view objects contained by the cube and to view the data associated with them in the Report pane. For more information about this pane, see Metadata (Browser Tab, Cube Designer) (SSAS).
- Subcube
Use the Subcube pane to filter the data displayed in the Report pane to a specified subcube. For more information about this pane, see Subcube (Browser Tab, Cube Designer) (SSAS).
