The Sales Orders Replication Sample Application for Devices uses Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition (SQL Server Compact Edition) to store a local copy of the data and perform data synchronization through merge replication. The sample device application is written in C# and uses the .NET Compact Framework. The sample device application is part of a larger sample application named the Sales Orders Sample for Merge Replication, which is available with the SQL Server 2005 samples.
