getAttributes Method (SQLServerDatabaseMetaData)

Retrieves a description of the given attribute of the given type for a user-defined type that is available in the given schema and catalog.

Note

This method is not currently supported by the Microsoft JDBC Driver for SQL Server. If called, it will always return an empty result set.

Syntax

  
public java.sql.ResultSet getAttributes(java.lang.String catalog,  
                                        java.lang.String schemaPattern,  
                                        java.lang.String typeNamePattern,  
                                        java.lang.String attributeNamePattern)

Parameters

catalog

A String that contains the catalog name.

schemaPattern

A String that contains the schema name pattern.

typeNamePattern

A String that contains the type name pattern.

attributePattern

A String that contains the attribute name pattern.

Return Value

A SQLServerResultSet object.
