ORIGIN Attribute | origin Property

This topic documents a feature of HTML+TIME 2.0, which is obsolete as of Windows Internet Explorer 9.

Sets or gets the origin of motion for the animation.

Syntax

HTML <t:ANIMATEMOTION ORIGIN = sOrigin... >
Scripting [ sOrigin = ] t:ANIMATEMOTION.origin [ = sOrigin ]

Possible Values

sOrigin String that specifies or receives the origin of motion for the animation.
parent
Origin is the upper-left corner of the bounding box for the element's parent.
element
Default. Origin is the upper-left corner of the bounding box for the element.
default
Equivalent to element.

The property is read/write. The property has a default value of element.

Remarks

The ORIGIN attribute only applies when the additive property is set to replace.
