ICM_GETDEFAULTQUALITY

The ICM_GETDEFAULTQUALITY message queries a video compression driver to provide its default quality setting. You can send this message explicitly or by using the ICGetDefaultQuality macro.

ICM_GETDEFAULTQUALITY 
wParam = (DWORD) (LPVOID) &dwICValue; 
lParam = 0; 

Parameters

dwICValue

Address to contain the default quality value. Quality values range from 0 to 10,000.

Return Values

Returns ICERR_OK if the driver supports this message or ICERR_UNSUPPORTED otherwise.

Requirements

**  Windows NT/2000/XP:** Included in Windows NT 3.1 and later.
**  Windows 95/98/Me:** Included in Windows 95 and later.
**  Header:** Declared in Vfw.h.
