CDO for Exchange Management (CDOEXM) is a collection of Component Object Model (COM) classes and interfaces aggregated into Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) and Active Directory® Service Interfaces (ADSI) classes. You can use CDOEXM to manage Microsoft® Exchange servers, mailbox stores, public stores, public folder trees, and storage groups programmatically.

Create New Store Sample Application Components

The Create New Store sample application consists of a Microsoft Visual Basic® Scripting Edition (VBScript) file that uses CDOEXM to create a new public store or mailbox store on the local Exchange server. You may specify the name of the store being created, the name of the computer and storage group in which it will be located, and whether you want the store to be mounted. See Setting Up a Store for more information about creating a new store.

Note  This sample application is intended for instructional purposes and is not meant to be installed in a production environment.
