Microsoft MapPoint Location Server SDK - Introduction
Welcome to the Microsoft® MapPoint® Location Server Software Development Kit (SDK). This SDK contains documentation and samples to help you build powerful location-based applications and services with MapPoint Location Server and MapPoint technologies. For more information about MapPoint Location Server, see MapPoint Location Server Overview.
The SDK has two main components: the MapPoint Location Server Web Service Reference and the MapPoint Location Server API Reference. If you are developing location-enabled applications, such as a location-enabled customer relationship management application for your mobile sales force or a dispatch application for your delivery department, see the MapPoint Location Server Web Service Reference. If you are developing tools or utilities to automate the management of MapPoint Location Server, such as a tool that adds a new employee to MapPoint Location Server or adds the employee’s peers to the employee's mobile contacts list, see the MapPoint Location Server API Reference.
