PSAdaptedProperty Constructor

Creates a new PSAdaptedProperty object that contains the name of the property and data needed by the adapter. This constructor is introduced by Windows PowerShell 2.0.

Parameters

name

The name of the property.

tag

Any arbitrary data it is needed by the adapter.

ArgumentException

The name or tag parameter is not valid.

An adapted property is any property that is made available through an adapter. For more information about adapted properties as well as other property types defined by the extended type system (ETS), see ETS Properties. For more information about the extended type system (ETS), see Windows PowerShell Extended Type System (ETS).

Although it is possible to derive from this class, there is no established scenario for doing this and any attempt to do so might result in unexpected behavior
