HostingEnvironment.ApplicationVirtualPath Property

Gets the root virtual path of the application.

Namespace:  System.Web.Hosting
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)
public static string ApplicationVirtualPath { get; }

Property Value

Type: System.String
The root virtual path of the application with no trailing slash (/).

The ApplicationVirtualPath property always returns "/" as the first character of the returned value. If the application is located in the root of the website, the return value is just "/".
