ErrorProvider.CanExtend Method

Gets a value indicating whether a control can be extended.

public bool CanExtend(
	Object extendee
)

Parameters

extendee
Type: System.Object

The control to be extended.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the control can be extended; otherwise, false.
This property will be true if the object is a Control and is not a Form or ToolBar.

Typically, you will use CanExtend to determine whether you can attach an ErrorProvider to the specified control.
